1. Data We Collect

When you register, we collect your name, email, and a hashed password. In your player profile you may optionally add your date of birth, gender, height, city, playing level, a short bio, photos and contacts. When you browse camps, we collect anonymous view data (anonymized IP address) for statistics.

To sign in with a one-time code we email the code to you. Only an encrypted fingerprint of it is stored; the code is valid for 10 minutes and allows five attempts.

2. How We Use Data

Your data is used to provide service features: authentication, managing favorites, publishing reviews and player profiles, and running the organizer dashboard. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Public Player Profile

A player profile on CampNow becomes public only with your separate consent, given apart from accepting the rest of this policy: when you register or later in your profile. A public profile is shown in the “Players & ratings” section and via a direct link. Without that consent the profile stays hidden, and you can hide a public profile at any time.

Visible to all visitors:

• full name (last, first and middle), photos, age (your date of birth itself is not published), gender, height;
• city, playing level and bio.

Contacts you add to your profile are shown to signed-in users only. Your account email, date of birth and password are never published. The profile page may appear in search engines and the sitemap.

You can withdraw consent at any time with “Hide profile” in your profile: the page stops opening and the profile leaves the catalogue and sitemap. You can show it again in the same place. To delete the account entirely, use our contact form.

If you signed up as an organizer, your player profile is not published until you open it yourself.

4. Player and Organizer Account

You have one CampNow account: it holds your player profile and, if you opened it, the organizer dashboard. They share the email and password. The organizer’s school name and phone are used to publish events and to reach you about moderation.

5. Cookies

We use an httpOnly cookie to store your authentication session. This cookie is required for the service to function and cannot be disabled while logged in.

6. Data Retention

Data is stored on secure servers. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
